Seaford GC is investing for the future to ensure the course meets the needs of today’s golfers. We recently installed a new, intelligent irrigation system and are updating the course to an improvement plan produced by Ken Moodie of Creative Golf Design. This mainly consists of winter work rebuilding the bunkers, clearing scrub encroachment and laying new paths, plus some other subtle changes. With nine of the holes now completed and enthusiastically received, it’s clear that the course will continue to be one of the best in Sussex.

Stunning Views

Known locally as Seaford Blatchington, our course sits on the edge of the South Downs National Park with glorious views towards the Sussex coast in one direction and the expansive Rathfinny vineyards in another. The course was designed and built by the legendary, five time Open Champion JH Taylor in 1907 embracing the natural features with only gentle gradients. The rapid drainage of water through the underlying chalk ensures that the course is rarely closed for play and presents an enjoyable challenge of firm fairways and greens.

Stay & Play

The charming clubhouse and sun terrace overlook the 18th green to the 1st tee. With local ales and a comprehensive all day menu on offer, our lounge bar is the ideal place for members, societies and visitors to relax and socialise. If you want to stay longer then we have fully serviced en-suite rooms available in our Dormy House which, along with a Full English breakfast and five course evening meal, make for the perfect golfing break at any time of the year.

Seaford Golf Club is an ideal venue for your special event or a family occasion, be it a corporate gathering, wedding anniversary, birthday celebration, or simply a private party with friends.

We have a variety of private rooms available for groups of different sizes. Also, for any guests who’d like to stay overnight can book an en-suite room in our Dormy House on a B&B basis.

We regularly cater for corporate days, with or without golf, business seminars and networking groups and have earned an enviable reputation for our attentive service and excellent cuisine.

Winter Wedding Receptions

We would love the chance to invite you to Seaford Golf Club and arrange a viewing of the restaurant and clubhouse. This would also allow us an opportunity to discuss, in finer detail, how we can meet your requirements, for your special day.

This inclusive package offers the best value for money and has everything covered, for your Winter Wedding Reception.

We can accommodate from 40 guests and up to 80, for a sit-down meal and a further 20 to 30 guests in the evening.

We also have 10 twin bedrooms, within the Clubhouse, which is an additional bonus for any Wedding guests who would like to stay overnight, on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Please enquire for prices.
