CAPTAIN’S PRIZE 2020 supporting WAVES of SEAFORD

Saturday 19th September 2020

As we have been unable to hold the traditional Captain’s weekend, the club has agreed to hold a Captain’s Day on Saturday 19th September. The competition will be in 2 sections, Mens (inc Juniors) & Ladies. Each section will have their own competition.

• Men will play off the yellow tee of the day.
• Ladies will play off the red tee of the day.

The event will be an individual stableford competition for all entrants and both groups.

The men’s event will be played with a maximum handicap allowance of 28.

Ladies will enjoy a maximum handicap allowance of 36.

Entry for all players is £5. All takings will be in aid of the Captain’s Charity for 2020.

Mens Prizes will be awarded for:
1st Place and Winner of the Captain’s Prize Best Score (net)
2nd Place (net score) 3rd Place (net score)

Additional Prizes
Best gross score
Best Junior gross score
(Players may only win one prize).
Men will play for nearest the Pin on 7th and 15th holes.

Ladies Prizes will be awarded for:
1st Place (net score)
2nd Place (net score) 3rd Place (net Score)

Ladies will play for nearest the Pin on the 3rd and 12th holes.

Unusually there will be no gifts to entrants this year and as such the entry fee is being kept low to reflect this. However, refreshments will be provided to all entrants halfway through their round with drinks and snacks. Following the day’s play, subject to the rules concerning Covid – 19, there will be a prize giving at the club house but there will be no evening entertainment.

This year we have been unable to support my chosen charity as much as I would have hoped, please do what you can to help me provide support to WAVES. See website for more information.
